Our Story
Where It All Began
SciencePreneur was born from a simple but powerful conviction: scientific knowledge should not remain confined to laboratories and academic journals. It should reach communities, drive industries, and solve the real challenges that people face every day.
The idea first took shape in 2012, when Kholis Abdurachim Audah, Ph.D was appointed as Lead Consultant of Research and Laboratory for the establishment of IMERI FKUI — the Indonesia Medical Education and Research Institute, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. Working at the intersection of biochemistry, natural product discovery, and community health, he recognized a persistent gap between scientific breakthroughs and their real-world application.
Over the following years, this vision matured into platforms like INPL and CitMed, earned international recognition, and grew into a comprehensive sciencepreneurship ecosystem. SciencePreneur officially launched in 2026 — connecting science with society on a global scale.

Kholis Abdurachim Audah, Ph.D
Founder & CEO
Kholis Abdurachim Audah, Ph.D is a distinguished expert, educator, and innovator whose work spans biomedical engineering, infectious diseases, natural product discovery, and biodiversity. Fluent in English, Indonesian, and Malay, he bridges scientific communities across Southeast Asia and beyond.
With deep expertise in molecular biology, protein biochemistry & enzymology, protein-protein interactions, bioinformatics, antimicrobial resistance, and drug discovery, he leads efforts to mobilize science for social impact — building Indonesia's most comprehensive extract library from its rich biodiversity heritage.
Beyond research, Kholis Audah, Ph.D serves as Chief Editor of the Bioinformatics and Biomedical Research journal and Editorial Board Member of Acta Biochimica Indonesiana — reflecting his commitment to advancing the scientific publishing ecosystem in Indonesia.

Hatem Harraz
Co-Founder & CTO, SciencePreneur · Engineering SME — Energy, Process & Carbon Reduction Technologies
Hatem Harraz is a process engineering and energy technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 30 years of international experience spanning emissions capture, Carbon Reduction Technologies, renewables, and commercialization of startup technologies. A Registered Professional Engineer in California, Oregon, and Nova Scotia, he has led major engineering programs at Aramco/KAUST, AECOM, ReCarbon Inc., PBF Energy, Worley, and Linde Engineering North America — working across refinery, gas processing, LNG, petrochemical, and clean energy sectors.
A process simulation expert proficient in HYSYS, ProMax, AspenPlus, and Aspen Energy Analyzer, Hatem has designed and reviewed FEED studies, HAZOP analyses, P&IDs, and large-scale EPC programs. He has also led research at Auburn University on enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulosic biomass, resulting in patents and peer-reviewed publications.
